George Nelson’s approach to design was to create beautiful and functional solutions for modern living. He sought to free the American home from clutter, and the Nelson Thin Edge Bed is representative of that philosophy.

With a slim, horizontal profile, efficient and precise detailing, and expert woodcraft, the Nelson Thin Edge bed brings an elegant minimalism to today’s bedrooms as it did when it was first introduced in 1954.

In updating this historic work by Nelson, solid Ash slats replace the Danish spring undercarriage of the archival design, providing more support and durability within its minimal frame. In addition to the veneer wood headboard, there is a cane back option with natural color variation. The bed we have on offer is in white ash finish with satin chrome legs. There is a tempurpedic mattress included.
