Set of FOUR Eames Moulded Plastic Side Chair Dowel by Herman Miller (2 sets available)
The Eames Moulded Plastic Side Chair with Dowel base (often referred to as the DSW) is a landmark mid-century modern furniture piece originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Originally debuting in 1948, the modern production by authorized manufacturers like Herman Miller and Vitra features a matte-textured, 100% recyclable polypropylene shell contoured to cradle the body. The signature "Eiffel" dowel base combines warm solid wood legs with black or metallic steel cross-struts to provide excellent stability and a softer, organic aesthetic. Polypropylene seat shell paired with a solid wood base (options typically include Maple, Ash, or Walnut) and steel wire cross-braces. The chairs we have on offer have a white shell with Ash dowel base.
