Pixel Modular Sofa by Sergio Bicego for Saba Italia

The Pixel Modular Sofa, designed by Sergio Bicego for Saba Italia, is an iconic piece of contemporary furniture celebrated for its ultimate flexibility and informal, generous profile. Endless Modular Reconfiguration: Built around a series of square and rectangular seating bases, the system uses an exclusive connector mechanism that lets you freely rearrange the layout. Detachable Components: Both the armrests and backrests can be fully detached and re-anchored to the bases. This allows you to completely shift the sofa's orientation—transforming it from a traditional linear setup to a double-sided island or a corner lounge. Compact footprint, maximum comfort: Due to the ergonomic and slim styling of its back and arm components, the physical dimensions remain surprisingly compact without shrinking the usable seating area or compromising comfort. Plush, personal aesthetics: It features feather-padded seat cushions with a distinct quilted or "pixelated" tufting structure. The covers are completely removable and can be upholstered in a creative patchwork pattern using a mix of different fabrics and leathers.
