Container Table by Marcel Wanders for Moooi

The Container Table we have on offer has a white conical base with a HPL top in white, HPL a flat panel based on thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with wood fibres and manufactured under high pressure and at high temperatures. Thickness top: 1.2cm | 0.5" The table could be used indoors or out. The container table top range all attached to the container foot in the same way. The container concept is that sand or water can be added to the foot to give it strength and stability. Water must always be treated with an anti-algae additive to prevent the water from becoming stale. There are Hex-bolts on the underside of each table which align with equally spaced holes in the container foot. Marcel Wanders is a product and interior designer who drew international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced by Droog Design in 1996. His work is ubiquitous; designing for leading international companies such as Flos, Alessi, Puma, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, MAC Cosmetics, Cappellini, B&B Italia, Moroso and Target. Wanders also designs for architectural projects, such as the Kameha Grand hotel in Bonn, the Mondrian South Beach hotel in Miami and the Villa Moda store in Bahrain. In addition to running his studio, Wanders is cofounder and Artistic Director of the successful design label Moooi 2001
