About Poliform

Alberto Spinelli, Aldo Spinelli and Giovanni Anzani founded Poliform in 1970 in Brianza, north of Milan, though its roots go back to a family artisan workshop in the 1940s. The name suggests versatility and openness to the future, and the company has spent over half a century turning modular living into an art form.

What distinguishes Poliform is its cohesive design language: kitchens, wardrobes, beds, sofas and storage speak the same dialect, so a whole home can share one sensibility, what the brand calls a 'Poliform house'. Long-standing partnerships with Jean-Marie Massaud, Emmanuel Gallina, Marcel Wanders, Carlo Colombo, Rodolfo Dordoni, Paolo Piva and Daniel Libeskind have produced some of contemporary furniture's most recognisable pieces. In 1996 it acquired Varenna, giving it a formidable presence in luxury kitchens.
