Curious in nature, he was self-taught, and started off designing lighting before moving on to produce his famed collection of contour chairs. He has won several awards for both his works and his contribution to Australian design, and his pieces are still displayed throughout galleries and museums today.
This Vintage Featherston R160 Contour Chair is by far his most iconic and celebrated work. His love for nature is reflected in the smooth, organic curves and rounded edges, as well as the solid wood tapered, angled legs. The chair we have on offer is upholstered in fabric.
