Created by innovative design master Philippe Starck, the Miss K modern table lamp brings a delightful duality to its work.

When unlit, its transparent outer diffuser rests with a sleek metallic tint. When the table lamp is lit, the transparency of the diffuser is evident and it appears as if you’re looking at an x-ray of a lamp. The Miss K features a fully transparent, PMMA frame and an opal internal diffuser. The Miss K glows with a diffused light.

There is always more than meets the eye with a Philippe Starck creation, known for his inventive use of materials to evolve our collective perception of the status quo. Here, he blends a traditional outer diffuser with a transparent PMMA structure to surprise us with a lamp that is innovative as well as timeless. With Miss K, the designer invites us to explore the inner workings of the lamp, seeming to suggest that the items we rely on every day have more power within than we seem to realize.
