The Box Armchair is a premium piece of lounge furniture designed by the Istanbul-based multidisciplinary studio Autoban and manufactured by the high-end modern woodworking brand De La Espada. Belonging to the acclaimed Box series—which famously includes the Box Sofa—the armchair is heavily inspired by the 1950s mid-century modernist movement.
- Geometric Form: Built around the strict, pure shape of a solid wood box casing.
- Interior Comfort: The inner faces feature crisp upholstery with classic tuft detailing, contrasting the rigid outer shell with soft comfort.
- Slender Legs: Supported by four thin legs that create an "impossibly slender" look, offering a striking, lightweight visual profile.
- Metallic Accent: The legs are finished with elegant brushed brass ferules (sleeves) at the bottom.
The chair we have on offer has a walnut outer shell and white leather upholstery.
