SE 68 Multi-Purpose Chair in Black by Wilde + Spieth (Multiple Available)

Until today, Eiermann’s SE 68 remains unique in its minimalist design and exceptional seating comfort. A tubular steel frame combined with an “organically” shaped seat and backrest made of moulded wood—the SE 68 was the first model in Germany to feature this material combination. To give furniture a “human dimension”, which was Egon Eiermann’s aim, and anyone who has ever sat on his SE 68 knows that, at the very least, hardly anyone else has matched this goal as well as the dedicated perfectionist himself.

Frame

4-legged tubular steel frame, powder coated with plastic glides. Ø 18 × 2 mm.

Seat and backrest

Moulded seat and backrest of laminated wood veneer. Backrest support of tubular steel Ø 18 × 2 mm.
