Original Artwork – ‘Nor wilt thou then forget’ by Ian Greig
Oil On Canvas
The artwork’s title draws its nomenclature directly from the closing lines of William Wordsworth’s famous 1798 Romantic poem, Lines Composed a Few Miles above Tintern Abbey. True to the poem's thematic exploration of memory and the restorative power of nature, Greig's painting serves as a visual meditation on the landscape, capturing the invisible spiritual connections that bind the physical world with the metaphysical.Greig utilizes fluid, organic movements and an intuitive distribution of color. : Greig approaches the canvas through a state of meditative "flow," allowing energy, visual rhythms, and chance to shape the abstract environment.
