Set of FOUR Quadratl Chairs by Janus et Cie

Cuban-American designer Orlando Diaz-Azcuy has teamed with Janus et Cie to produce a sophisticated line of powder-coated-aluminum outdoor furniture. Quadratl, one of four collections in the brand’s Masters Aluminum Series, is a collaboration between Diaz-Azcuy and Janus et Cie president and CEO Janice Feldman, who was inspired to exercise her own design talent while watching Diaz-Azcuy’s creative process. The collection owes its crisp geometry to a Josef Hoffmann print owned by Diaz-Azcuy, who has long seen the Wiener Werkstätte as an influence. Feldman, too, feels a special connection to the movement and its aesthetic—Janus et Cie’s topiary logo was inspired by a sculpture atop Vienna’s Secession building. The collection’s title, German for “square,” was Hoffmann’s nickname. The set of chairs we have on offer consists of two armchairs and two side chairs. The chairs have an aluminium frame with Cirrus White Januscoat ™ The seat cushions are in a pink fabric with white piping.
